Freya’s Saga
Freya is the Norse Goddess of Love, Fertility, and Magic. She also had the right to half of the warriors that died in battle. Those she chose would join her in the heavenly field Folkvanger, and the rest would go to Valhalla. Her husband, Odr, frequently left to travel the mortal realm and in her yearning for him, Freya would cry tears of red gold. Freya’s Tears is a true treasure; it tastes like a lover’s kiss and you will miss it when it’s gone.
Flavor – Mead with Raspberries
Freya’s Tears Mead offers a rich, full-bodied flavor that lingers on your tongue. The addition of whole, fresh-pressed raspberries provides a refreshing, bright berry note that perfectly complements the honey base. The natural haziness of the mead is due to mild filtration, preserving its authentic character.
Ingredients
Crafted with local Colorado alfalfa and wildflower honey, Freya’s Tears Mead uses Freyr’s Sail Mead as its base. At the end of fermentation, whole pressed raspberries are added to infuse a bright berry flavor.
Appearance
This mead has a charming, hazy look, a result of its natural ingredients, minimal processing and the absence of added clarifiers.
Intensity
14% ABV, providing a satisfying warmth and depth with every sip.
Dietary Information
Gluten-free, low in sulfites and tannins, and suitable for vegetarians.

Freya’s Tears Mead tastes great chilled or at room temperature, offering versatility for any occasion. Enjoy it on its own to fully appreciate its complex flavors, or try it as a spritzer or mixed with lemonade over ice for a refreshing twist.
