Sif is known as the goddess of earthly fertility, wife to Thor, and mother of Ullr and Thrud. Her hair, as golden as the sun, symbolizes her connection to the fertility of the land and the vitality of the crops she protected. It was believed she protected fields from cold winters and storms, and had a hand in the change of seasons. We honor her and the harvest with this sweet golden elixir.

Sif’s Splendor Mead offers a rich, full-bodied flavor that lingers on your tongue. The sweetness of the peaches combined with the smooth, aromatic notes of vanilla bean creates a delightful and refreshing taste experience. The natural haziness of the mead is due to mild filtration, preserving its authentic character.
Ingredients
Crafted with local Colorado alfalfa and wildflower honey, Sif’s Splendor Mead uses Freyr’s Sail Mead as its base. Fresh local Palisade Peaches and Madagascar vanilla beans are added at the end of fermentation to create a flavor that is quintessential to Colorado summer and agriculture.
Appearance
This mead has a charming, hazy look, a result of its natural ingredients, minimal processing and the absence of added clarifiers.
Intensity
14% ABV, delivering a smooth, deceptively mild warmth with no harsh bite.

Gluten-free, low in sulfites and tannins, and suitable for vegetarians.

Release Information
This mead was initially released in late summer 2023 following the peach harvest, celebrating the bounty of the season and the richness of Colorado agriculture.
